Mary
Gerdts is founder, CEO & President of two
companies in the electronic transactions industry
headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona: POST
Integrations, Inc. and EboCom, LLC. Founded
in 1991, POST Integrations provides credit card
processing services exclusively to the hospitality
industry. EboCom was founded in 2000 and is a
full service third-party back-office processor.
Mary has over
17 years of experience in the electronic transactions
industry and has been an active member of the
Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) since
1991. Mary served on the ETA board of directors
from 1995-2004 and was ETA President from 2002-2003.
In 2004, Mary received the highly distinguished
ETA Member of the Year award for her passion and
commitment to the industry. Mary continues that
commitment to ETA today by chairing high-profile
committees such as Industry Relations where she
was key in launching ETA's first Compliance Day.
As a noted industry expert, Mary was honored to
be chosen to represent ETA on Capitol Hill in
2006 at ETA's premier Government Outreach Day.
Mary is also very
active in the society of Hospitality Financial
& Technology Professionals (HFTP). Mary has
been a member of HFTP since 1990 and she was on
the HFTP board of directors from 1996-2001. Mary
served as President of the Phoenix Chapter for
two terms, from 1998–2000. As President,
her chapter received the prestigious HFTP Chapter
of the Year Award as well as receiving numerous
HFTP Chapter Choice Awards.
To ensure a legacy
of woman leaders for years to come, Mary, along
with three other women, founded a new association
known as Women Networking in Electronic Transactions
(W.net) in 2005. The primary mission of W.net
is to inspire and empower women in the electronic
transactions industry to maximize their potential
and position themselves for greater success. |
